2020 has been an very eventful year for all of us. The CareerUp Essay Contest is an opportunity to share your challenges, triumphs, and learnings with young professionals like yourself.

 

Get published online and win great prizes while helping others navigate these challenging times. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three essays and runner’s up will have their works published on CareerUp.com!

 

Essay Requirements

• Content must relate to internships, work, professional development, or remote learning/work.
• Essays must be written in English with a minimum of 500 words.
• A maximum of 3 essay submissions per participant are allowed.

By submitting an essay you are agreeing to the terms of the CareerUp Essay Contest. The winner will be announced on March 8, 2021. Judges’ decisions are final. We accept work, written in English, from anywhere in the world—regardless of genre, style, or origin. A maximum of three submissions are allowed per person.

Writers over the age of thirteen are welcome to submit. Staff members are not eligible for participation. We read all submissions anonymously. Please also be aware that as we often receive hundreds of submissions for each of our contests we are unable to offer personalized feedback.

We may edit every piece accepted for publication, including all our contest winners. Prizes are list in USD. We reserve the right to postpone the submission deadline and contest length in the event less than 100 participants have been completed to the contest.
